Haul 8/22
Since I have been COMPLETELY MIA, I decided to get back into it with a quick haul...
Mac Constructivist Paint Pot. "A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners." It's a frost shade, a metallic brown with red pearl. I've been eyeing it for awhile now!
Mac Cremesheen Glass in Boy Bait. "A lip finish that fuses the creamy, sheen-filled nature of Cremesheen Lipstick with the shine of M∙A∙C Lipglass. Soft, comfortable, non-sticky. Applies with a doe-foot applicator. Use as a top layer to its namesake Lipstick or on its own." It's the perfect sheer nude without being tooo sheer. It's about to be discontinued, so stock up!
Philosophy Purity Made Simple face wash. "Clean up your act with a face wash that keeps skin squeaky clean, easily dissolving dirt, debris, and makeup. Streamline your morning and evening skincare routine to a single step with this gentle formula that doesn't shirk its duties as the gentlest, most effective cleanser around." After venturing away, I *always* come back to this. Not quite sure why I ever stray lol.
Ultraflesh Pantera Mascara. "This volumizing, super-defining, and long-wearing Ultraflesh mascara gives the term "cat eye" new meaning. Formulated with a blend of natural waxes, it maintains the lashes' soft, pliable feel while keeping lashes conditioned and promoting healthy growth. The dual-purpose Panthera brush combines a full brush experience with a comb on the other side to create definition and length without clumping or smudging." Got a sample of this with my Beauty Insider points, I've been wanting to try it for awhile..
Picked up Essie Nail Lacquer in Master Plan at Target. Loving this color, exactly what I've been on the lookout for!

Official Christmas Gifts post :)
Better late than never! I had such an awesome Christmas! I'm extremely grateful for everything, but the best part was spending much needed time with my family. Some items are not pictured, such as cash, gift cards, VS panties, and my plane ticket up to Ohio.

So the bulldog sweatpants were a gift from my parents. They know I LOVE having matching things with my sisters (I'm a dork), and my dad found these super soft and comfy sweats. The fact that they have bulldogs on them is sooo random, but he told us they were the ones he liked the best that he could find 2 of in a size small, so my sister and I could have the same. Such a cutie :)

Your Twenties
I stole this from a friend a few years ago, and have no idea where she got it.. It's such a good read!
They call it the "Quarter-life Crisis." It is when you
stop going along with the crowd and start realizing
that there are many things about yourself that you
didn't know and may not like. You start feeling
insecure and wonder where you will be in a year or
two, but then get scared because you barely know where
you are now. You start realizing that people are
selfish and that, maybe, those friends that you
thought you were so close to aren't exactly the
greatest people you have ever met, and the people you
have lost touch with are some of the most important
ones. What you don't recognize is that they are
realizing that too, and aren't really cold, catty,
mean or insincere, but that they are as confused as
you. You look at your job... and it is not even close
to what you thought you would be doing, or maybe you
are looking for a job and realizing that you are going
to have to start at the bottom and that scares you.
Your opinions have gotten stronger. You see what
others are doing and find yourself judging more than
usual because suddenly you realize that you have
certain boundaries in your life and are constantly
adding things to your list of what is acceptable and
what isn't. One minute, you are insecure and then the
next, secure. You laugh and cry with the greatest
force of your life. You feel alone and scared and
confused. Suddenly, change is the enemy and you try
and cling on to the past with dear life, but soon
realize that the past is drifting further and further
away, and there is nothing to do but stay where you
are or move forward. You get your heart broken and
wonder how someone you loved could do such damage to
you. Or you lie in bed and wonder why you can't meet
anyone decent enough that you want to get to know
better. Or maybe you love someone but love someone
else too and cannot figure out why you are doing this
because you know that you aren't a bad person. One
night stands and random hook ups start to look cheap.
Getting wasted and acting like an idiot don't seem as
fun. You go through the same emotions and questions
over and over, and talk with your friends about the
same topics because you cannot seem to make a
decision. You worry about loans, money, the future and
making a life for yourself... and while winning the
race would be great, right now you'd just like to be a
contender! What you may not realize is that everyone
reading this relates to it. We are in our best of
times and our worst of times, trying as hard as we can
to figure this whole thing out
